Your Mercy Makes the Light of our Darkness Charity is Universal Duty for Everybody The Releif & Welfare Society for The Blind, Has been striving hardover the last 23 years for the welfare of this neglected part of our society. Our Association has been actively functioning in meaningful welfare to nearly 538 poor blind members. From many years we handle our all actvities in our conseled Registeed office. But now the quantity of our is more than past. So , Mumbai Mahanagar Palika has alloted Three Classrooms in B.M.C Township school Malad west. Mumbai to our Society . In the present days globalization and Technical advancement job opportunities for the Blind populance are diminishing. To facilitate find jobs and make them Self-relaint, this Society has decided to build an Electronic Reading & Computer Training Center for the people with impaired vision. This institute we are going to start at our alloted Classrooms.

Our Major Activities Medical We provide the free first Aid Medical treatment and medicine to blind and their children. We also assist to major Hospitalize treatment to needy blind within our limited Fund. Education We provide all the Education expenses to poor Blind's Children. We also gives uniforms,books, fees, scholar-ship etc. Regular help We provide financial help as a charity to aged, sick, poor and widow blinds who have no necessary source of income. We gives regular charity to those aged Blinds who have not any dependent Help to Start Small Business We provide financial help on non-refundable basis to those Blinds who want to do small business like selling lottery tickets, Agarbatties, Candle and other Cutlery items etc. we also help the required Blind person by providing PCO Booth from MTNL, Mumbai and also help them providing stall Other Activities Our Major Activates are to provide rationing, clothing , folding sticks Etc. Our Project Dreams

Our association has apprach the Government of Maharastra to allot a suitable place of land for the construction to build Home for Aged Blind, Training Center, Workshop, Health Center and Residnetial Accommodation for unsheltered poor Blind members.

But, all these activities can be done only by your Donation. So This appeal thas been arranged to receive the Funds to Activate all our activities and to construct our project.

Relief & Welfare Society For the Blind is registered under the Public Trust Act as well as society Act, and as such your contribution towards this cause willl be exempted from Taxes.

Your involvement in changing the lives of this under privileged class will go a long way in the form of building.
